TESTOSTERONE AND PHYSICAL FITNESS
Physical fitness plays a large part in maintaining good Testosterone levels in the body. Extreme exertion, like a soccer game tends to decrease levels immediately afterwards, but boosts them overall. Activity is known to reduce levels of Testosterone in day to day life, because it is only after a period of prolonged rest that Testosterone levels reach their peak. So, for those who tire easily, or are seen as lazy, maybe there is more to the tiredness than meets the eye.

Research into sports teams suggest a rise in Testosterone levels may be linked to improved performance. This would come as no surprise to those who abuse the drug in pursuit of cheating in sport. But for those who start out life Hypogonadal, success on the playing field appears to be an uphill battle. They, after all, never benefit from the comfort of an excellent endocrine system and its ability to assist in the creation of lean muscle, tough skin and a strong bone structure.

It is widely known that fitness is beneficial to health, particularly as we age. Regular excercise could assist in reducing the effects and dosing of Testosterone Depletion in some people. It makes sense therefore to suggest a target of physical fitness be set when contemplating Testosterone replacement.

Opinion
Regular excercise and a sensible attitude to eating and drinking, help the body to become strong. In so doing, health is promoted. Perhaps the most sensitive structure known is the endocrine system. Positive responses to excercise and fitness by the endocrine system highlight its value to the overall health of an individual. However, for those who are already deficient, we must find and help them.
