Results in from 6 weeks of 50mg ED.  Ended up with getting the TRT + check done through medichecks so I got a much more comprehensive set of bloods.

Testosterone - 21.2 (7.6 - 31.4)
Oestrogen - 161 ( < 192 )
Prolactin - 157 ( 86 - 324 )
FSH - 7.66( 1.5 - 12.4 )
LH - 7.19 ( 1.7 - 8.6 )
SHBG - 20.3 (16 - 55)
PSA - 2.35 ( 0 - 1.40) * high

All in all , I feel no different from the higher dose... Perhaps because oestrogen is going up faster in relative terms than T (T is up 15% , but E is up over 30%).   My SHBG has also nearly doubled (which isnít necessarily a bad thing as it was too low).   Have my follow up next week to discuss with the doc. Also worried about the PSA being high and RBC / HCT being slightly out of range again (although not as much as when I was on Testogel) so will discuss that too.

Happy new year guys

Have you tried/suggested adding in an AI to help with the rise of oestrogen?

Looks really good to me, apart from the Oestradiol obviously, and perhaps the PSA.

You ideally need to half the oestradiol in my opinion. Once you do that it'll be spot on.

Don't worry about the SHBG raise, it's just right where it is now.

The PSA is a little worrying, it'll be interesting to see if reducing the oestradiol will help the prostate.

Yup , the PSA level is freaking me out a bit (well a lot actually) . Thing is Iíve never had one done in the past so have nothing to compare back to.  Iíve read that clomid and in fact any other form of T therapy can cause it to increase, so hopefully itís just s temporary thing.

Am eager to try an AI to see if that improves things.

I found when I added in an AI it helped massively with blood results but also how I felt etc

Hopefully that works for you too :)

Yes mate:

Clomid 25mg (half a tablet) every M, W and F.
Arimidex (AI) 0.5mg (half small tablet) every M and Th.

Ok, so saw the Dr today. I explained that i didnít really feel much different apart from the improvement to my excessive sweating .  He was pleased with the testosterone level, but when I asked about an AI he said it was not on the cards - oestrogen levels were in range and he did not believe they were high enough to warrant it. Felt a bit deflated after that, but hey ho ..

Now going to start tapering off the clomid over the next 4 weeks , then retest levels after 6 weeks to see if they have held (and whether the PSA has reduced).  If they donít hold , Iíll have the option to go back on the clomid or try T- cyp injections.

That's not good mate...

You should be prescribed an AI for those levels to be totally honest, which Dr is this?

I'd assume the high E2 won't be helping the prostate issue, I know it sounds quacky but there is reports starting to show that e2 can exacerbate prostate issues, Dr Crisler in the US mentions this quite a bit, I once heard him joke in talk that he can tell a guys Oestradiol by doing a DRE, just saying.

How are you going to be able to go on Cypionate? I didn't think we could get that in the UK, at least not on prescription anyway...

:)

Am seeing Dr Raheem privately.  I was pretty surprised at that as well.   Iím pretty sure that cypionate was the other option he mentioned,  Iím pretty reluctant to go back on T since since it gave me the RBC issues - but Iím also desparate to feel well again.  The clomid was only ever intended as a reboot , so weíll have to see what the plan is if the levels donít hold up.
