MEDICINES THAT CAUSE HYPOGONADISM
Another potential source of Hypogonadal conditions is the use of some medications. Certain Anti-depressants cause such conditions, thereby creating a "no win" situation for the patient and doctor.
Other medications and some surgical procedures create similar conditions. BCG, for example, is used in the treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. It also causes Hypogonadism.

Is Hypogonadism an accepted side effect of medication? The regulating bodies owe it to society to ensure that medications should not be given the green light if they cause Hypogonadism. How many people exist today with Hypogonadism an unknown, unrecognised contributor to their own decline because of medication?.
